About

Hello, I’m Donna Sharick, owner of Dreams by Design Travel. My love of all things Disney started in 1987 when I won an all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World on a radio station. At the time, my Prince, Joe, and I decided to wait til our 2 yr old was 4, in 1989. We stayed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Disney seed was planted!

I’ve enjoyed over 50+ trips to Walt Disney World Resort, several visits to Disneyland Resort, and 14 cruises on various cruise lines. Most recently, I attended the D23 Expo at Disneyland Resort! I’ve worked for various travel agencies over the years and decided that in order to provide the best possible care my guests deserve, it was time to open my own agency. I am thrilled to take my experiences and knowledge of traveling with children, ladies only trips and now empty-nesters, and share it with my guests. My motto is, if you can dream it, I can design it!

Seeking the best Disney travel agent? After years of trial and error; we found her! Donna Schoen Sharick This lady is awesome! She goes over and above! Any of you that know me know how I hate phones and why. Email with no issue. No matter the time of day or night or the day of the week; there was a reply within minutes. Not the normal; I’ll get back within a week or more if I must. She was always upbeat and on it! Wanted local services for some “special items” (to be named later due to surprise events). She made it happen. Need some special accommodations due to Cle and my limitations and an assured ADA room with shower in the section of our choosing (not Disney’s last thoughts assignment). She is on it! Answered my questions without hesitation. Just fantastic! Was even pleasantly surprised with the price. Especially with everyone complaining how the rates and all went up so this year. I have used several travel agents in the past. AAA included. I recommend this lady over them all. We actually had a Christmas reservation, paid in full, lost a few years back. We were being reassigned to Lion King instead of our beloved Cars (a total no go). We had to take non-ADA rooms due to Disney mistakes. While Disney can be magical; they are human and make errors. With visiting hundreds of times; things go wrong! I shared these and other “mishaps” with Donna and she was right on it to get it taken care of so this year can be magical…..once again! She sent us a wonderful Disney care package (something in there for everyone and more), covered our Magic Maker and made sure everything arrived quickly. ​ Since Disney is but a stop on our summer travels; we can’t wait until the last minute for Disney to ship. We tried the resort pickup option and that didn’t work well. We have all our goods now, are ready to go and she made it happen! THANK YOU!
