Hi there! My name is Amy Eckert, and I am excited to be a Dreams by Design travel advisor with Dreams by Design Travel. I fell in love with The Wonderful World of Disney as a child from our family living room. Every Sunday evening our family would gather round to watch the Sunday special.

It wasn’t until I was a mother myself that I fell in love with what I call the most magical place of all, Walt Disney World. In the year 2000, I discovered that I may be growing older, but I wasn’t “growing up”!! As an elementary teacher of 30+ years, I think I’ve always been a “kid at heart”, and I’ve since learned that Walt Disney’s words are so very true: “Growing up isn’t just getting old…Growing up is when you don’t believe anymore.” I truly believe that having fun and making memories along the way is what connects families.

I have been planning trips to Walt Disney World ever since. I have vast experience planning large groups, family groups, reunions, girls’ trips, Run Disney trips, Disney Cruise Line vacations and even adult only trips. I have traveled with high school bands, high school/college graduates, elementary aged children, grandparents, and soon I will travel as a grandparent myself. I can organize your hotel stays, dining/meals, park ticket purchases, spa treatments, golf games, firework parties, and even Run Disney reservations. I’ve planned RV camping, golf cart reservations, fishing trips on Bay Lake, and dining at The Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show. I know all about Keys to the Kingdom tours in addition to dining with Imagineers. I am a recent graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge and know my way around the ins and out of planning a Walt Disney World/Disneyland/Disney Cruise Line vacation. I love planning all things Disney, and I’d love to plan for you!!

Even though Disney is my favorite to visit and plan for, it isn’t the only destination I enjoy. I have cruised on Royal Caribbean, Princess and Disney Cruise Lines. I have an upcoming Alaskan Cruise with Holland America that I booked myself. I am also a Universal-Orlando Resort Specialist so I can help you plan your Universal fun as well.
